TEN PERCENT PROCEEDS NIGHT TO BENEFIT GLOBAL STUDIES INDEPENDENT TRAVELERS

Description

There are 27 students who are going on this non-school sponsored trip and it sounds like a great experience! They have worked hard with various fund-raising events (and have 3 left). Additionally, there are students offering babysitting and pet sitting services. However, they leave on June 9th and have about $14,000 left to raise in funding! (Mrs. Ginger Scerri is in the works already to be able to apply for grants next year so the amount the students have to raise should be less in the future.) I have also been told that 16 of the students are from families with incomes below the poverty level. What a great opportunity for these students to get to see other countries and experience other cultures! Any contribution would be appreciated.
