INTRODUCTION TO LIGHTING AND SOUND WORKSHOP

Introduction to Lighting and Sound Workshop with Jim Oliver, Lighting and Sound Technician. Open to anyone interested in volunteering as a lighting and/or sound technician. 

Two workshop options: Monday, September 23 at 6pm - 8pm; Sunday October 20 at 2pm - 4pm. 

The purpose of the workshop is to provide a high level introduction and overview of the lighting and sound systems. We will tour the facilities, show the various equipment and systems used, and explain what happens during a show. After this workshop, attendees can expect to have a basic understanding of what is involved in running lighting or sound for performances. They will understand the commitments and training required and be able to make a decision on whether volunteering in this area would be a good fit for them.
