About

We are located in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains in Hiawassee,Georgia. We have been serving the community for 54 years. The hospital was first named Lee M. Happ Jr. Memorial Hospital. It opened as a 13 bed hospital and was the smallest hospital in Georgia. The name changed in 1960 to Towns County Hospital and became Chatuge Regional Hospital in 1994. Today, Chatuge Regional Hospital is a full service, not for profit, medical facility.
