TOP OF GEORGIA PLEIN AIR FESTIVAL

Description

Top of Georgia Plein Air Festival grew from a local plein air event, Mountain Regional Arts and Crafts Guild's Plein Air Paint Out, which was a one day event held at and sponsored by The Azalea Farm. After 3 years, the desire to grow and reach out to artist beyond our local area lead to a collaboration between Hamilton Gardens, Mountain Regional Arts and Crafts Guild, The Azalea Farm and the Georgia Mountain Fair. We hope you'll come and be a part of our first annual Top of Georgia Plein Air event. We may be starting small but we are thinking big as we look to the future. A complementary Continental Breakfast will be provided in the Hamilton Gardens pavilion from 7:30- 10:00 Friday morning and a full complementary breakfast will be provided from 7:30-10:00 Saturday morning. Food trucks will be available for lunch if you so choose. After a day and a half of painting "en plein air," and awards have been determined, a "Wet Paint" Art Show & Sale will be held where painters are invited to display their completed work.
