STUDENT JURIED ART + DESIGN EXHIBITION

Description

The YHC Student Juried Art + Design Exhibition celebrates the creative achievements of Young Harris College students, featuring work from Art and Graphic Design majors, minors, and non‑majors across six categories: Drawing, Painting, Mixed Media/Printmaking, Graphic Design/Illustration, Photography/Video, and 3D Sculpture/Ceramics/Installation. At the Opening Reception, guests will have the chance to meet the student artists. 

This year’s juror is Rachel Watson from the Elf School of the Art in Hayesville, NC. She will evaluate all submissions and awards first, second, and third place, as well as honorable mentions in each category, along with the overall Best of Show award. Additional honors include the President’s Award, the Beauty Can Change the World Award sponsored by YHC Religious Life, and the YHC Art Department Awards, which include the Richard Aunspaugh and Birdie Bryan Miller Art Awards.
