After receiving and reviewing your application, look for an acceptance letter from us for final details about the class no later than February 16. Space is limited in the class, so turning in the application does not guarantee a spot in this class. The first class will begin on Thursday, March 7 from 9 a.m. – 12 noon and finish on Thursday, May 30 for a total of 13 weeks. Cost – cash or check only due on the first day of class The cost of this 13-week program will be $130. This pays for the State Master Gardener Fee and online access to the state book and study resources. You may order a hard copy of the book through Amazon. Checks can be made out to the Clay County Extension. As for the class itself, it’s 13 weeks long. You should bring something to write on e.g., a notebook, paper, or a laptop for taking notes. You also might consider bringing something to drink and snacks in case you get hungry. Please keep in mind that while there are in-person meetings, much of the resources and study material is online, so you will need a computer and internet access.
