About

Hinton Rural Life Center is a mission outreach and retreat center located in Hayesville, NC, serving the Appalachian region. Inspired by Jesus Christ, Hinton serves individuals, congregations, and rural communities through retreat ministries, educational opportunities, and hands-on missional outreach.

We host church retreats, youth and confirmation retreats, leadership groups, and community gatherings throughout the year. In addition, we operate year-round mission outreach programs focused on safe and healthy housing, home repair, and poverty education. During the summer, mission teams from across the Southeast come to serve local families through critical home repair projects.

Hinton also offers meeting space, lodging, and dining accommodations for nonprofit groups, churches, and community organizations looking for a peaceful mountain setting for retreats or events.
