Nestled along beautiful Lake Chatuge in the mountains of Western North Carolina, Hinton Rural Life Center offers a variety of lodging options, as well as: What makes a stay at Hinton especially meaningful is that your visit gives back. As a nonprofit retreat and mission outreach center, revenue from our lodging and conference facilities helps support programs serving our rural Appalachian community, including Safe and Healthy Home repairs, firewood ministry, Christmas Care for children, poverty awareness, and elderly fall risk assessments. All have heating and air conditioning. In addition, we have 9 RV sites, available in 30 and 50 AMP.
