Elf School of The Arts

Elf School of the Arts is a nonprofit artist residency in Hayesville, North Carolina, nestled beside the Appalachian Mountains and Lake Chatuge. Housed in a renovated 1928 school building, Elf School of the Arts offers one- to twelve-week residencies for artists working in a variety of disciplines, including book arts, forging/welding, jewelry, painting, photography, printmaking, writing, woodworking, weaving and more.

Residents receive a private bedroom and studio use at no charge, with additional accessible facilities available, making it an inspiring and welcoming place for creative work.
