Welcome to our little corner of the mountains…! ”Casa on the Creek” is actually two properties, Gili’s Cove Cottage and Blackwell Branch Cabin, situated on adjacent wooded lots and right on noisy Tusquittee Creek in the beautiful Tusquittee valley outside the town of Hayesville in the heart of the western North Carolina mountains. Blackwell Branch Cabin is a 3 bdrm/2 bath cabin that sits right on the creek, with large wrap-around decks, a two-story playhouse for the kids, and a wood-burning stove for those chilly mountain nights. Gili’s Cove Cottage is 2 bdrm/2 bath and features a romantic Amish fireplace in the bedroom, a huge screen porch overlooking the creek for relaxing on lazy summer afternoons. As you turn on to the road that brings you to Gili’s Cove and Blackwell Branch, you’ll feel like you’ve left traffic, noise and stress behind. Cruise past the cows idling in the pasture, gaze at the riot of wildflowers lining the pond, look for deer in the meadow and listen for geese on the wing. Cross the bridge over the creek and you’ve arrived. Peace. Nature. Serenity. It’s OK, you’re in the mountains now… Breathe.
