Punkin Chunkin Festival
The 13th Annual Punkin Chunkin Festival opens on Friday, October 14th at 6 p.m. with the Chili Cookoff and Anything Pumpkin Competition on the Square in Hayesville, and continues on Saturday and Sunday, October 15th and 16th, on Settawig Road in Brasstown. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. Festivities include live entertainment, food and craft vendors, pie-eating contests, tractors, airplane rides, agricultural activities, and The Kidzone. $5 Parking/$5 Admission/Children under 5 years old get in FREE.
