Description

Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds, Hiawassee Sunday, October 13, 2024 2:00PM Anthem Edition burst onto the scene in 2003 as a trio called The Old Paths, founded by Doug Roark and Tim Rackley with a mission to glorify the Lord. The trio soon became a quartet and gained national attention. In 2012, they signed with Crossroad Music's Sonlite Records label, releasing the breakout album ‘Right Now' which yielded two #1 hits and earned them a Singing News Fan Award for Favorite New Quartet. Despite a hiatus in 2015, they returned to touring in 2017. In late 2022, the group changed its name to Anthem Edition and welcomed Andrew Utech as the new bass vocalist. In the fall of 2023, Cameron Edens joined as the new tenor, and Joshua Stone joined as the new pianist. LeFevre Quartet: Since 1921, the LeFevre name has always been a leader in Gospel Music. Today, the name is stronger than ever. The LeFevre Quartet formed in 2005 and within only a year, Gospel Music fans voted The LeFevre Quartet 2006's Singing News Fan Awards Horizon Group of The Year. In 2009, their song, “Big Mighty God” was nominated for a Dove Award. In 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019, The LeFevre Quartet was nominated as a Top 10 Traditional Quartet in the Singing News Magazine's Fan Awards. Their recent albums from New Day Records/Daywind have produced multiple number one hit songs. Prayerfully, the message in each song will change hearts. It often takes more than just a legendary name to gain the recognition this group has attracted, but with stellar vocals, high energy performances, and a heart for ministry, this combination of talent is one you won't soon forget. The LeFevre Quartet strives to reach the masses with a message of hope, grace, and salvation through Jesus Christ! Gold City: Since 1980, gospel music fans world-wide have been in love with the trend-setting style of Gold City. With 10 number one songs, multiple radio hits, and numerous industry accolades, this Dove Award-winning quartet has achieved legendary status as they have remained atop the gospel charts consistently in each of the past four decades. They have won over 60 Singing News Fan Awards as a group and among the individual group members, and they've introduced some of the most important songs in all of gospel music to audiences everywhere, including “Midnight Cry,” “Under Control,” “I'm Not Giving Up,” “It's Still The Cross,” and “In My Robe of White.” In 2017, the crowning achievement of being named to the Gospel Music Hall of Fame forever solidifies what thousands of loyal gospel music followers already know—Gold City will forever be the standard of excellence for gospel quartet music.
