DESCRIPTION:1-Trick Pony String Band\nJoin us on MONDAY\, June 1 at 7 p.m. in the Folk School’s Festival Barn. Enjoy a concert with 1-Trick Pony String Band. Whether it’s two-stepping country\, old-timey tonk\, or rockabilly\, 1-Trick enjoys playing it. This group of friends enjoy playing music together so much they wanted to share it. The members have found a unique way to blend their various musical styles together in such a way to keep you on the edge of your seat. The 5-piece consists of Chad Johnson on drums\, Dave Wright on rhythm guitar\, Karl Engelmann on upright bass\, Ted Whisenhunt on mandolin/banjo/guitar/harmonica and Lindsey Liden on resonator guitar/telecaster/banjo and fiddle. One thing is for sure… you’ll be entertained. \n\nThe Folk School features some of the finest regional and national acts performing eclectic roots music. We’ll have standard seating available\, first come first serve. We also have a family-focused social area of picnic tables in the back. You’re welcome to bring your dinner\, card games\, carving\, sewing project\, or set up on the grass and let your kids play. \n\nA donation of $5-15 per adult is suggested\, but all are welcome regardless of contribution. Folk School Students and Staff are not asked to donate.
