BASIC WATERCOLOR ART WITH FRILLS – Class Limit 10 by Billie Shelburn 

Cost: $25 

This is a painting class for both adventuresome painters new to the craft and those who want to expand their painting skills.  All levels are welcome. Come and learn all the important basics of painting with watercolor.  We will explore all facets and technics necessary to do a watercolor painting and then, we will work with a few additions that can be used to explore some mixed media applications such as collage and much more.  Those who want to leave their painting pure watercolor can do so. 

There is a charge of $25 per week for all materials provided to complete a painting or two a class.  The charge is paid directly to the instructor. 

Billie Shelburn is a contemporary studio artist and fine art instructor in painting, drawing and mixed media. Billie’s works are comprised of representational, impressionistic and mixed media styles. Her paintings have won National, International and Regional awards. Billie was inducted into the National Organization for Women in Arts in Washington, D.C. and has served on the Executive Boards of Georgia Watercolor Society. Currently Ms. Shelburn is the Resident Artist at John C. Campbell Folk School in Brasstown, N.C.
